Firstly thanks, oromis, for your email. While sweeping metal&blood underneath the carpet I didn't think that anyone would miss it. I've left up an archive page where you can still access the old pages, but I doubt I'll continue, because I don't know where I might take that story any more. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.

Secondly, in a fit of self-obsession and extreme vanity, I got follow registered in a top-ten list. You can click here to vote for follow in RocketBox Top Ten Comics. I don't, but, well, obviously.

Newly discovered, Derek Kirk's webcomic 'Same Difference' at Small Stories, and a lot of nice reads in his short stories section. I also forgot to mention Cyen's webcomic Down But Not Out last week when I linked to it - it's a quirky little story about a boy who seems to not be plagued as much as he is consistently nagged by bad luck :)

On follow itself: I've scripted the story to pause at about 25 pages, and have pencilled almost all of them. Holidays starting next week, and all forces and deities willing, this part of the story will have some kind of closure by the second week of January. How cool is that?? An actual ending, or anyway an ending I can rightfully stick 'to be continued' onto knowing exactly what the continuation will be. This is such a rare and delightful in warmtrombone-land I'm going to celebrate now and not do any work for a while.

I am, however, going to close the window. The weather has gone mental and we might even get snow soon. Snow! White fluffy stuff! It won't be thick enough here to have proper snowfights in, but it's going to be white, and fluffy, before people start walking on it turning it into yellow London slush, and my sister gave me whole rolls of pristine new film for my monster-camera when she was here! But it is really, really cold. I died-ed walking back, going to warm myself cooking dinner now.
